Virtual and Augmented Reality are poised to transform the way we work, play, and learn. In healthcare, these technologies are already being applied to surgical planning, training, patient education, research, and many aspects of therapy.
The Immersive Medical Hackathon is a weekend-long co-creation event that focuses on this intersection of virtual and augmented reality technology with healthcare challenges. It is an opportunity for healthcare professionals, researchers, and technologists to explore the possibilities of this space together.

Judging Criteria
-
Step 1 - Rating
Judges begin by rating your projects on a scale of 1-5 according to the several criteria: Completeness, Visual Design, Audio Design, Interaction Design, Technical Achievement, Use of Narrative, and Novelty. -
Step 2 - Ranking
Next, ratings are used to rank projects within each of the above criteria, allowing us to quickly identify which projects stand out within each. -
Step 3 - Discussion
Once the top projects are identified, our judges discuss the pros and cons of each one to explore the differences in their opinions. -
Step 4 - Decisions
Finally, judges select winners by consensus. In general we try to ensure that no team wins more than one prize.
